As the General Manager of Research and Development, He is at the forefront of spearheading the development of next-generation, high-efficiency plant factory systems, with an objective of halving production costs while achieving carbon-negative sustainability. His area of expertise lies in optical application technology, and he boasts an impressive track record of research and development achievements across various domains, including information storage media, displays, and image printing, from his previous roles in previous companies. His innovative prowess has resulted in the applications of over 500 patents. From FY 2018 to FY 2022, the "Research and Development of Value chain efficiency AI system for plant factories." project was selected, along with three other organizations, for the " Realization of a Smart Society by Applying Artificial Intelligence Technologies/Productivity Field" organized by NEDO.
