Since April 2020, Mr. Toshiaki Sato is manager at the battery materials and recycling business promotion office of the technology strategy department at the technology headquarters of JX Metals Corp. He joined the JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation in April 1984, where he worked in the sales & marketing department, metals division; metal raw materials department, metals division; Japan Metal Economic Research Institute; Pan Pacific Copper Corporation; environmental recycling business division; and research department. In March 1984 he graduated from Tohoku University, Faculty of Economics.
