Mr Till Kötter

Mr. Koetter is a political scientist. Since April 2020, he has worked as a senior advisor for European and international affairs of the Foundation 2 °. Prior to that, he spent five years advising the International, Europe and Climate Protection department of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) in changing positions. The focus of his work was on the German G7 and G20 presidency, as well as on international partnerships for the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

Till Koetter previously worked in the Beijing office of the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) with a focus on German-Chinese cooperation for ambitious climate protection with provinces such as Hubei, Jiangxi, Jilin and Shanxi. Before that, he worked for the Heinrich Boell Foundation’s Washington office with stakeholders from government, business and civil society to strengthen progressive alliances for climate protection at the national and sub-national level. He holds a Masters in International Politics from Sciences Po Paris and studied Journalism at the University of Florida.
