Katharina Goergens

Deputy team leader Energy Politics

She joined the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises in 2017 and has been managing and leading several projects , f.e. the Masterplan Solarcity Berlin and the Energy Atlas Berlin. From 2010 to 2017 Katharina Goergens worked for Berliner Wasserbetriebe in various tasks, most recently as personal assistant to the Chairman of the Board. 

In 2017 Katharina Goergens completed her master's degree in sustainability and quality management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, where she also worked as part-time lecturer for sustainable economics from 2018 till 2020. She is currently taking a part-time qualification course in Professional Business Analytics at NORDAKADEMIE University of Applied Sciences
