Jana Narita is Senior Manager at adelphi in the field of energy. She leads a team that implements the Japanese-German and Korean-German Energy Partnership on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). She supports the preparation and implementation of government meetings, organises dialogue and networking formats and analyses energy policy instruments and measures in Japan and South Korea in comparison to Germany. "Japan, South Korea and Germany are important industrialised nations with high greenhouse gas emissions and energy import dependency, but also strong innovative power. International cooperation is of great importance for climate action and the related need to accelerate the global energy transition. Through my work, I can actively shape this cooperation and thus contribute to the transformation of the energy system."
