Mr. Monden got his Master of Informatics in the field of Systems Science at the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University in 2002 and joined the Systems Development Laboratory of Hitachi, Ltd. In the same year. He became Senior Engineer for Advanced Metering Infrastructure System, Infrastructure Systems Company, Hitachi, Ltd. In 2012, Senior Researcher for public safety systems at Hitachi Asia in 2014, and Senior Researcher Unit Leader, System Architecture Department, Center for Technology Innovation  - Systems Engineering, Hitachi Ltd. In 2017, before being appointed as Department Manager for Energy Management Systems at the Center for Technology Innovation – Energy of Hitachi, Ltd. Research and Development Group in 2020.
